A WORLD PREMIERE PRODUCTION
September 9th through 24th, 2017

Drawing from his time working as a Radiology Tech Assistant in a hospital Emergency Room, Pete wrote the first draft of In A Little Room in 2008.  He named it In A Little Room after seeing his future wife in a production of As You Like It, borrowing the title from a Touchstone quip ("It strikes a man more dead, than a great reckoning in a little room").  The play received a workshop at the Hangar Theatre in Ithaca and was then presented in New York as part of their Pilot Reading series, but this will be the first full production of the play.

In A Little Room tells the story of two strangers trapped in the cold comforts of a hospital waiting room. They feebly try to restart their lives and fail fantastically as the hospital, possibly, burns down around them.  Pete's play is irreverent, absurd, and sobering as its two main characters try to outsmart the grieving process.
